International Rose Test Garden

Portland's International Rose Test Garden is considered the oldest official, continuously -operated public rose test garden in the United States. Roses are sent from throughout the world to be tested in the Northwest climate here. The 5-acre garden in the Washington Park Neighborhood / Botanical Garden was founded in 1915 by rose lover Jesse Currey and delivers spectacular views of Portland and its backdrop of mountains. Open daily from 7:30am-9pm.

Oregon Ballet Theatre

Oregon Symphony

Called "a virtuoso ensemble" by The Washington Post, the Oregon Symphony is the oldest major orchestra in the West and one of Portland's great cultural attractions. Pittock Mansion

Pittock Manison is located up West Burnside Street in NW Portland commanding a view of five mountains. The park is open every day dawn to dusk. The twenty-two room mansion is open, everyday 12:00-4:00 p.m. Tours are available during that time or you can go self guided. Beautiful 1914 craftsmanship and elegant furnishings adorn the four story 16,000 sq. ft. mansion. Built by Henry and Georgiana Pittock in 1914, they were joined by children and grandchildren who lived here until 1958. Admission is $5.00-$2.50. Closed major holidays.
